Researcher is looking for information on the use of Rail Guns on Trains in East Anglia during WW1 and WW2, please?

    the short answer is none in terms of proper rail guns. During WW2 we had 9 coastal patrol armoured trains equipped with a 6 pounder pea shooter of these trains B & C operated in Norfolk and train D in Essex / Suffolk.
    There were however 4 gunnery ranges for big guns Catterick and Eskmeals in the north and Shoeburyness in Essex so many of the guns visited East Anglia between the wars and after WW2 for test firing.
